steelcat
I am considering taking off the fairing off my zx6, when i have done this before it runs like a bag o' shite. I presume it has something to do with the ram air tubes. is there a way to make it run properly without these? Thanks
David W
Yep, but it will involve a man with a dyno and probably some airbox modification.
gurninman
Have a read here : Loots of good info on there - mostly for ZX9s, but a lot of it should be applicable
fran9r
Vent the float bowls (long pipe which runs to the air intakes at the front of the fairing) to the airbox and you'll be OK. If you don't want to cut up the airbox, you need it to lead somewhere on the front of the bike.
