Liamo
Whats the recommendations for products to get rid of rust inside a fuel tank? And hopefully stop it coming back? Cheers POR15 is supposed to be good. I say supposed to be, I made a pigs cock of mine and coated half the tank nicely while the other half flaked away. I'm still sulking over that and havnt put a spanner near the RD since
will#224
Hammerite do a rust dip. Big container filled with this liquid and water then dip it. Leave it over night then job done. Rinse it with water and coat it with an appropriate anti rust.
gregtrx
This is the kit you want, lots of old nuts and bolts in the tank and shake it to get the loose stuff off then follow the instructions. Made my little bro's cb100 tank come up like new inside!
