paul8899
hello, just won a bargain set of 02-03 yokes and shock linkage for my 2000 R1 on ebay . I have been told that the yokes are a straight swap but I'm not sure as to what difference the rear linkage makes , has anyone fitted the yokes / linkage and what difference do they make Thanks
thundercat rider
Fork offset was changed in 2002. I believe yoke offset for 2002-03 is 25mm. I believe 1998-2001 yoke offset is more, like 35mm. Fitting the newer yokes will increase/stability/slow down steering because of more trail. Dunno bout the linkage. I suggest you put them next to each other and note the difference.
