TLRS Posted October 10 Report Share Posted October 10 I rebuild some zx14 nissin calipers. Used special brakegrease and gave the seals a light smear. Not impressed with their ability to retract the pistons now. Wondering if the grease prevents the seals from pulling the pistons back ever so slightly. ssray Posted October 15 Author Report Share Posted October 15 Just think I've found the spec of the calipers, they appear to be Brembo M4 32mm 100mm centres So they appear to be decent calipers, I'm going to remove everything, ultrasonic clean the calipers, make sure the hoses are clear etc .
