All our riders are safely through Pitstop 4 and on their way to Inverness.

Keith is happy with his delivery from the lovely ladies at Pitstop 3 :D

Gary, James and Nige have all made it through P5 now and are on to the last leg of the journey. Fingers crossed Nige's bike keeps going!

Plenty more riders passing through Inverness now, and I think Hawkati is on for a podium in about 15 minutes :)

For some reason his tracker reads as this...

I must see if I can change his screen name to Jaanes Silent :D

Nige Rea and Jaanes Silent are both in at JOG. There are still lots of riders to follow, and every one is a bloody hero; I can't imagine how tired they are after nearly 24hrs of riding.

I need to sign off now, but I really want to bring this home for all the good people on this forum. These guys have been riding for nearly 24 hours non-stop, many on bikes they have dragged back to life over patient months. They've taken days off work at great financial penalty, and spent their own hard earned cash to get to this point. It costs the average rider hundreds or thousands (other sprinkles are available) to do the LDC.

And they've done it just to help other people. People they have never met, never will meet. They're fucking heros.

Big hugs to those who have donated, everyone at the LDC thanks you from the bottom of our hearts, and if you haven't, why not just chuck a few quid to Cancer Research UK and feel like you were part of something wonderful :)

Longest Day Up 2024 (cancerresearchuk.org)

Night all :)

Well done everyone who took part or supported yesterday's ride.

Looking forward to the team photo at the signpost.

Hope everyone at John O'Groats enjoys your breakfasts.

Safe journey home

Spot on.

Anyone who rides the LDC does something special. A rider commented that they'd done a similar run for another charity and it was nowhere near as difficult.

The LDC is really tough, and the road closures etc at the end, after 20+  riding, were doubly tough.

These guys went through a proper test, and they deserve our support, so go on, click the link below. Please :)

Totally this. Everyone of these chaps are amazing and deserve to be sponsored.

Not that it makes any difference to who money should be donated through as it all goes to Cancer Research but is there a round-up of finish times somewhere? Please.
