MJWHITT
Hi, my 2006 r6 has the engine management light on and is showing 22 on the clock. Ive been to my local dealer and he gave me a print out of how to clear the codes but it wont clear and keeps showing as a fault. Has anyone had this problem or does anybody no where or what the fault. The bike seems to be running ok, im just a bit worried i might be doing some harm by using it. ronenige
Intake temperature sensor , open or short circuited ,( or disconnected ) bike will run fine as it falls into a fail safe mode and fixes it to 20c , you won't be able to get rid of the fault code until you fix the problem , the fault code will go but it will be stored in the memory , HTH
