fastfox
Hi peeps. Looking to get a bit more grunt out of my 02 R6. Ive already geared it down a bit (1 tooth down on the front sprocket and 2 up on the rear). Want a bit more power with out sacrifying reliability. I was thinking of a rejet. How much gain would i get?

lorenzo
I was thinking of a rejet. How much gain would i get? It depends upon how badly jetted it is at the moment. In terms of peak you'd be lucky to see an increase of more than 5 or 6 hp, but the feel and throttle response can be really quite noticable. Plus better throttle response as Lorenzo has said. But you'll also save a shed load of weight. Which is nice
intra
Brake later/harder and get on the gas earlier/harder. You'll go faster and it won't cost you shit.
MonkeyJim
Brake later/harder and get on the gas earlier/harder. You'll either bin it on the brakes or do a spectacular high-side on the way out fixed it for ya

intra
fixed it for ya Because racers don't brake any later than a trackday rider or else they'd crash every corner...
lorenzo
Because racers don't have any more skill than your average Joe Fixed it again.
