Changing fork oil

Ok, for refewrence i doubt that you need less than 8, OEM is probably talking about first hit and they wound the springs so that they they got  harder as they worked. 

As it goes, they didn't work at all..

One of the great features (not) of old 1980 bikes is that they do like to got fuckin spastic at the font....They all bend in the middle, but that front end is what will usually try to kill you, first.....

I'm just dropping the forks at the suspension shop next winter and let them figure it out.

So far I've found one webshop that offers fork springs for the Vitpilen, and the hardest spring they offer is something like 4,7N/mm. Why anyone would want even softer springs in this is a mystery to me.  

Plus I don't have the tools to do the fork springs. And even then, I don't have the skills and materials to do a revalve. 

I'm just gonna enjoy it this season, and get it sorted after.
