Gavin Posted April 29, 2009 Report Share Posted April 29, 2009 can anyone tell me if there is any reason that i cant mount an R6 shock the wrong way up? its going in a different frame and the right way up means major frame mods, upside down goes straignt in. i know im adding unsprung weight putting it upside down, but is there anyother reason why i shouldnt? also, where can i get a shorter spring to fit it? about 20mm shorter. i know thats a lot but its being direct mounted and the shock rod has 20mm more travel than i need, so its not a problem.
