SAB Posted August 18, 2014 Report Share Posted August 18, 2014 When applying anti-seize compound to a bolt, how much should the suggested dry torque value be reduced? I've combed the interwebs and I've found suggestions in dropping the suggested torque ranges from 10%-40%. What say you PB wrench guru's??? Simbo Posted August 18, 2014 Report Share Posted August 18, 2014 i say dont drop it,, the settings are based on a smooth tightening motion and dont allow for friction rust or dirt... provided the bolts are in good condition and not corroded or worn,, should be all ok.
