Chrisa112
RIGHT. Yesterday was the day of success. After speaking to Electrex at the end of last week they recommended I chop the Triumph CPS off and fit that in place of the one they supplied (or they could do it but it's a really simple job so didn't bother). Took both stator/CPSs to work to do the swap as it's a lot easier with all the proper equipment. Not the nicest solder joints I've ever done but it'll more than do: And with it all fitted as it should be: Got it home, got it fitted, bike started on the button! YES. Took it out and it hasn't missed a beat. No more cutting out at idle. Thanks all for the help you guys, if I'm ever at PB meet and beer/alcohol is involved I'll be sure to buy you guys some drinks. jaycee
I love it when someone gets ti the bottom of a fault that would have a lesser man sell the bike on
Wildbill
I like it when a member has the courtesy to post the results when a problem is solved on a technical part of any forum. So many ask for help and after being aided by others ; cannot even be arsed to post up the conclusion.
