Akrapovic Inlet Size - Finding The Right One

Hello,

I need an akrapovic can with a 60mm inlet. No link pipe required so it could be a model for any bike.

Is there a database somewhere with inlet sizes?

Thanks!

Give Performance Parts a call. http://www.performanceparts-ltd.com/

They're the UK distributor for Akrapovic. They'll be able to run through what options are available.

From recent memory BMW K1200R have a 60mm Akra bore, and pretty sure the full system on my GSX-R 600 was the same. My full system was off a K4/5 model. Not exactly sure which Akra system it was.

Thanks - will try there

There are a couple on ebay with 60mm inlet but are abour 3" long as they were cut down.

I think RSV4 is 60mm but not cheap....

is it for the OE downpipes? otheriwse you need to be a bit careful

the size of the can's inlet is also determined by the relevant pipework, eg

early R1 full akra 'race conical system' stainless downpipes; the link pipe is for a 54mm inlet can

early R1 full akra 'evolution' with Ti downpipes & link pipe; for a 60mm inlet can

Thanks - I'll have a look on ebay for an early R1 can.

I have a full akrapovic evo race system with link pipe on the way.

It is specified as needing a 60mm can but I'll measure on arrival.
