Adam
Specifically, equipment for sheilding the back side of a component being welded. I've seen folk on here and other forums use various arrangements and I was just wondering if these were commercially available or if they're made in house as it were. kanerdog1x1
I just make as I need. I have a couple of 'boxes' that I fabricated and that will last a lifetime, but I rarely use them. I used stainless sheet, only thin stuff, folded up, with an open top. Filled with stainless wire wool, and retained with stainless mesh. On reflection, I shouldn't have bothered spending(wasting) so much time making them.
