Mahatma
Hi.Just a quick question:My petcock has begun to leak intermittently, and is becomming a nuissance (and maybe a worry too when it gets real hot ).Bought a new one,and wondered if it's just to install it straight on,or put some sealant on the rubber gasket that seals it up? Thanks in advance for some input
threepot900
On the couple I've done, I didn't use any gasket goo or sealent of any type. As long as the two faces (tank and petcock) are clean, grease free and smooth, you should have no probs.
