shooter560
I need to add a couple of LED warning bulbs to switches I have mounted, however me being me the switches actually control the earth rather than a live feed, worked on the basis of less risk of issues should any wire fail. Anyway if anyone can offer advise on how I can wire these in so when the switch is on (earth connected) the warning led lights, or should I say what resistors etc would I need as well Cheers in advance
kaighn80
If the switch is wired to have a permanent connection to power it's fairly simple, wire the positive ov the led to positive, and the other to the positive side of the switch, till you throw the switch it cannot complete the circuit and shouldn't illuminate, as to the resistors http://led.linear1.org/1led.wiz.
