Rick448
My K1 clutch has been dragging and I have decided to replace the plates and give it a looking at before summer arrives (so no rush!!) I have bought an EBC kit which does not include steel plates but have noticed that the 9 plates are all the same when the OE plates have 2 different thicknesses. Will this be OK or do I need something else? Cheers,
Timbo S2
As far as I'm aware, all 750's from 96 to 2005 share the same number and type of friction plates; it's the plain steel plates that vary. They should all have some 1.6mm plates, and some 2mm plates, the number varies depending upon model. I'd suggest popping to your dealer and getting the right plates, they are only about £5 +vat each...
