lorenzo Posted January 25, 2014 Report Share Posted January 25, 2014 Yes it should, and if you're clever you can bypass the relay that runs it too, just to get it going. The relay only works when the engine's turning over, so if the system's dry then you'll kill the battery getting the carbs primed, unless you short to of the pins in the relay plug. Of course, I'm fucked if I remember which ones, but I marked them off so I only needed to bodge the nose of my mini leatherman if I didn't get to the reserve tap in time, which might be a worthwhile tip if you're doing the LDD.
