mr.tickle31 Posted December 9, 2013 Report Share Posted December 9, 2013 Hi, Been racing a 2003 R6 with 03 race fairing, but I'm not a massive fan of the shape and style so thinking about trying out the newer shape fairing, 06 onwards. Does anyone know how well the newer fairing will fit on the 03 bike? Is there much cutting and tweaking needed or will it go straight on? kaighn80 Posted December 23, 2013 Report Share Posted December 23, 2013 I fitted 03 r6 fairings to an fzr400 1989 bike, it was a faff and I had to make all the brackets and bits to get it lined up as it should have been but when it was done it did look good, if your prepared to get the grinder and welder out then it will fit.
