vfiend Posted November 23, 2013 Report Share Posted November 23, 2013 I was about to suggest the same method of diagnosing the bearing number, then found what I guess is a reply to you anyway:Using the linked microfiche as an example: BEARING, NEEDLE, 22X29X30 (NTN) tells you that this is a needle roller bearing originally manufactured by NTN, having the standard bearing dimensions of 22x29x30. A good bearing house should be able to supply several different bearings in the same size, from different manufacturers (if not NTN). BEARING, RADIAL BALL, 6202 tells you that this is a standard ISO sized radial ball bearing with the dimensions 15x35x11. This is an absolutely bog-standard bearing, probably even available at Tesco... DUST SEAL, 22X35X7 (NOK) tells you all you need to know about this dust seal, even the OEM manufacturer (NOK). There is no reason to buy bearings and seals from Honda, unless they are the rare bespoke variety, for which Honda may be the only source.
