Superdunc
Having brain fade here. I need a 2 pin connector to wire up the regulator on my 748. It has the 2 wire generator, which has been modified with 2 more heavy duty wires to the rectifier. I need a connector to join the 2, ideally a superseal type, but it needs to be larger enough to take the current and heavier guage wires. Any suggestions. Pablo Pirate
Here's a link to some Ducati connectors, not sure they are man enough for you requirement? http://competitionsystems.co.uk/assets/Ducati%20wiring%20parts%20retail%20price%20list_01.pdf Also states minimum order, however he sells them individually on flea bay. These might be suitable, also in varying sizes. The larger Ducati connectors are not the gucci superseal items. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-Way-Pin-6-3mm-Locking-TAB-Connector-Plug-Socket-Kit-/170575507225?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item27b717 Known what your after but couldn't see a 'Yorkie' superseal connector. 2moto
Forget that connector, it's just not rated high enough, current-wise. I have always converted them to the kind used by the RC crowd, like below. They carry the current and are "sealed" enough for most use, but can be improved with a bit of heat shrink on each side.
