MonkeyJim
after a set of crowfoot spanners aka crows feet for a couple of jobs on the bike reason for the question is it looks like they come in two sorts, either open ended, like this or with a small lip at front, like this I'm guessing but the former is easier for access, the latter will keep a better grip once it's on / in place? anyone got any recommendations, pros/cons for either type? looking at getting a set for a 3/8" drive, as I need at least a 14mm, 17mm and 22mm and it'd be handy to have the sizes in between as well. Doug_R1
Isn't the second one for flare nuts?
chancho196
The second type is the best bet for tight nuts and bolts, but can't always get into some spots. The first type will "open up" easily, and round off bolts if too tight. You can buy them so cheaply nowadays that I'd suggest getting both types. Evilchicken0
I've got some of these, but never used them.
