DC98
I've got the head off my bike at the minute and thought while its off I'll give it a bit of a refresh. Just wondering what would be the best way to clean all the carbon out of the exhaust ports. The heads stripped so no valves etc, is carb clean go to be best way to go or is there something better. CMSMJ1
I used wet and dry to do a head on my old nc race bike. On inlets too and also lapped the valves in nicely.

l3ddy
I use petrol and brake cleaner with a toothbrush. Petrol to shift the tough stuff and then the brake cleaner to clear the crap out. Loads of ways, all get very boring!
