lorenzo Posted August 27, 2013 Report Share Posted August 27, 2013 Isn't this when they changed from carbs to injection? If so, I'd imagine the pump will be fairly different. I'd haver a look for a parts fiche and compare the part numbers for the gasket on the fuel pump, see if you can swap your old pump into the newer tank. Turok Posted August 27, 2013 Report Share Posted August 27, 2013 The Firestorm never had injection. The best place to ask is VTR1000.org. I think that it's a straight swap.
