Pugwash
Help a numpty out please chaps. I'm flailing around blindly right now with an ancient multimeter for company. Indicators have failed completely after my wee low speed. So far I have proved power to relay. Confirmed continuity to handlebar switch. Checked voltage across handlebar switch terminals and getting reading on both sides. Dismantled switch and cleaned contacts. Checked continuity from switch to indicators. All looks sound. Fuse has blown a couple of times fannying about. Switch was pretty cruddy and was getting stiff prior to spill. Any thoughts? Aside from I should learn how to use a multimeter properly and stay away from tacky LED micros. Oh and maybe not crash the bike. Ta muchly. Pugwash
Scratch that. Put switchgear back together mounted on handlebar and gave it a waz anyway. Hey presto my inept bunglings appear to have sorted it out. Win.
jaycee
Ha ! I love it when that happens. I'm resorting to replacing the loom and fitting proper non-LED indicators on my bike when I get home next week.
lorenzo
LEDs are fine so long as you swap to an LED compatible relay too.

Yeah I know, but these are cheap tat, linked into the butchered loom by twisting the wires together and wrapping the mess up in Sellotape FFS. Plus the alarm, is doing my box in, so a replacement loom is the way forward. Dave, I should be home next Friday
