Toneale
I wish to consult the oracle that is the PB massive. Can anyone point me in the direction of a company, (preferably east of the USA) that could manufacture a billet crankshaft for a 650 Bros? Ta! porter_jamie
nope. their conrods are supposed to be shit hot though. I cannot imagine a crank is going to be cheap. is this crank a pushup one like a stroker?
Toneale
I have a plan to supercharge my Bros engine and am thinking of a billet crank to try and improve engine longevity. P.S. what a push up crank?
porter_jamie
a two stroke crank is pushed together from separate webs, with ground pins for the mains and big end pins.
theo
We got a quote from arrow for 3 cranks for the supermono (not dissimilar to a Ducati 1098 crank, but with plain rather than roller mains). It was just over 1300 for each crank which I didnt think was too bad at all considering the internal oil galleries and the splines on both ends.
