rsv chris
I'm fitting some Renthal medium compound grips to my new bike and have come across a problem. When I fit the grip onto the left clip on it is ever so slightly loose it's like the grip is 1mm to big in diameter. The grip just slides on with nearly no resistance and is not in contact with the bar in the middle of the grip. What's the score with this then? Do I need to buy some glue to pack it out slightly? Because hair spray ain't gonna make it fit. The throttle side is not going to be a problem because that has the throttle ube gubbins adding extra girth..... stop sniggering back there. dansp1
Sure you are fitting the right (left) side to the left bar?

Guest
Use masking tape around the bar.
Hendo
You are aware that Renthal grips are left and right handed? The R/H/S grip is slightly bigger for the throttle tube.

After going back and trying again I am now educated . They fit like a glove.
