Mr.Incredible
So I had the Falco's forks rebuilt with heavier oil and a smaller air gap. I installed the forks with less showing above the yoke than before. It now behaves as I want it to on track and most of the time on the road, however I had a fairly big tankslapper the othe day when accelelerating very hard over a crest with a direction change at the top, and have had a couple of more minor wobbles elsewhere. I appreciate that the big one only happened in a fairly extreme case, but if I can reduce the likelihood of a recurrence then that would be just dandy. Compression and rebound are kind of most of the way in at the moment. Would reducing the rebound damping help? Thinking about it, I think it probably would. Thanks in advance for any advice (relevant to the subject or otherwise).
rossm
Get one of these swingarms, or jusy buy a steering damper
Boozybloke
Shurely, if you've altered the suspension to suit one type of riding, you've compromised it in others? If you dial it back a bit won't it therefore compromise it for the track riding part? I suppose what I'm getting at is maybe leave the suspension but fit a steering damper? Jenny Pryde
More steering damper. Or less Incredible over corkscrew crests.
dansp1
Try backing off the rear rebound a little
Mr.Incredible
Thanks so far. Steering damper not an option due to cost.
