Marb
I have set of RSU's for my cafe racer that I'd like gold plated. I have purchased a new set of stanchions, anyone have any advice on getting them coated? I can't find any here in the Netherlands that'll do it, do I probably end up shipping them to the UK. Evilchicken0
It's Ti coating, ot Titanium Nitride http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Titanium_nitride Try searching for this in the Netherlands you may have more luck.
BudgetBoy
Evilchicken is correct.. But id go for the black (DLC) coating as its harder wearing, the gold tends to fade after some time..
