jvhy Posted April 17, 2013 Report Share Posted April 17, 2013 Hi! My Corsaro 1200 speedo's lcd-screen got broken and about 15-20 lines are not showing a thing. I have been trying to find (mostly on Ebay) Moto Morini's speedo without any success...Also wrote to factory if it's possible to get either screen or whole speedo from there. One choice is to replace the speedo with some aftermarket unit, Acewell or Koso or something similar... Easy bits: * speed, magnetic sensor already in rear brake * rpm, signal from spark plugs or so * turn signal, high beam and fuel light, hard wired no problem Hard ones: * Temperature and oil pressure, through can bus... Do I dare to "rob" the signals (parallel wiring) needed from original wiring (before they go into ECU). Or is there a way to "look into can bus" and use signal from there? As the bike is Italian I do not wanna mess too much with electrics! It's quite sensitive in it's original shapa already ;-) -Janne P.S.
