dab33
As mentioned else where the headlight on my mv points the wrong way, is it possible to fit yellow film to the headlight to pass an MOT. The bike is an early F4 and has passed previous test's are some testers not bothered about the headlight dipping the wrong way? Thanks in advance Dave. Evilchicken0
No you want Black opaque tape. Ask the tester to put it on for you ... they might, they might not
Mr.Pigdog
You can usually point it towards a wall and just use tape to make the beam pattern 'flat' at the top rather than the kick up.Shouldn't be a problem-used to have to do it to a few imports
trackdaybob
One year the tester taped the headlight on my 5pw R1, the next year he didn't, then failed it. Fuckin gent!!!!
TriGGer
Depends on the test station. Places that use a marker on the wall can be got around with tape, if the headlight uses a lens. If it uses a shaped reflector and a clear cover, maybe not. Newer MOT stations with beam testers will be much harder to get around, especially with the angled reflector type headlight.
