boris
Is Castrol fork oil any good? Was going to put some fresh oil in this weekend but usually use Fuchs 5w race stuff but have got a halfords discount card and basically get Castrol 5w fork oil for about a third of the price of the Fuchs race stuff. Bikes only used for track days and is changed every year anyhow.

Alex_H
I can't imagine mortals like us would tell the difference between any of the major brands of fork oils. Get it done, you know what to spend the change on.
boris
Just wondered if anyone used it as some oils froth up under track use but the guy in my local bike shop said they all pretty good nowadays and he said any named oil that's fresh is better than 15 track day old oil. Went with Fuchs 5w in the end, as you say I'll never the difference anyhow.
