lorenzo
A stock NC30 rear, the 18" one, what width are they? Will they take a 160 OK? I know a 150 is the stock size on there, but is a 160 OK or will it just be rolled up round the edges?
CMSMJ1
It is a 4.5*18 and has 150/60 profile as std if you are getting a 160/60 it is a balloon looking mess of a fitment. For commuting though..It won't matter and you can get a BT014/016 or various random Avons as far as I know! So, yeah 160/60 will fit but it has a strange profile and looks wrong... kja.busa
A vfr750 fr to fv rear wheel can be made to fit, that will take a 160 or a 170 that fits properly, theres a guy who makes the parts to make it fit, can't for the life of me remember his name though. Requires a hub exchange and the purchase of the right wheel - not cheap.. Not in the general scheme of getting some rubber to wear out on motorways! thefatman
Go for it, it means you have to heave the bike over onto its side but you soon get used to it.
