willbloke
Not in any way performance bike related I'm afraid ! After a company that can rebuild a pair of remote reservoir Corte Cosso shocks off an ancient Italian Enduro bike. Will need rods, seals , probably bushing , new oil and gas . Also a TS125R monoshock 96 vintage .(lost its damping) Any thoughts that aren't going to break the bank ?
HeadtheBall
Hagon might be worth a call?
millerich
John Gaskell at Revs in Halesowen may be able to help.
alexp5
Give John Gaskell at Revs a shout. He mainly deals with the usual suspects re: suspension but the bloke is a goldmine of info. http://www.revsracin....uk/aboutus.php Edit: dammit Millerich! willbloke
Thanks chaps. I did look to see if Hagon did a replacement for the TS125R , but they don't list it. As far as the Corte Cosso shocks , I'd like to rebuild the originals rather than chuck new ones on , I'd like to keep the bike as original looking as I can. millerich
I know John can rebuild a number if supposedly non- rebuild able shocks and will be honest in his opinions as to what's best. My dad asked him about Hagon shocks for his 1966 Triumph and he said " I could get you some, but I'd rather not ". He pointed him in the direction of Ikon (IIRC) who I believe bought Koni's shock business. Just checked, and it looks like Ikon's connection to Koni is as importer. willbloke
I've done a bit of research on the Interwebs and it said Koni stopped building bike shocks , Ikon took over production using their designs .
