Cuzza
Morning all Generator packed up at my last track day with the carb spewing fuel out of the float bowl. Got it home and took the carb of to find that the point where the float bowl bolts into the carb body is split so found a new carb online. Gaskets arrrived today so put it all back together, replaced the oil in the generator and fired it up no bother. BUT, generator is 'hunting' constantly now as if it's running out of fuel. Plenty of fuel in it and I've cleaned the filter in the fuel tap. Fuel is running from the tap so the carb is getting fuel a plenty. Not much to adjust on the carb itself and the only thing I haven't changed is the spark plug. Any suggestions? Jon
BudgetBoy
Is there an idle you can turn up? It might be as simple as that as you installed a new carb so upset things. Cleaning the plug might help a bit..Hard to tell without looking
