beedub
Here's a thing. Does anyone actually bother sticking fuel stabiliser in when wintering a bike? I stuck a bit in last year then rode the bloody thing 2 weeks later. However, haven't been out for 3 weeks and can't see it happening for a while unless I either man up or spring starts soon. Neither are likely. Worth bothering or should I spend the money on a pint and some pigscabs?
BudgetBoy
Me i never use it.. Much prefer to pop out to the workshop and fire it up for 5 mins every fortnight or so. Gives the bike a a bit of go in the battery, oil gets warm so dont get like mayo and coolant gets moved about.. Fuel take a while to go off mate just shake the bike to mix it up and fire it up.Stabilizer (IMO) is only good if you plan to let it sit for months. bikemike
Just drain the old fuel out and stick it in the car. Pop some nice fresh fuel in when spring finally arrives. Job done. I always think these "stabiliser" products have a bit of snake oil about them.
