belfez72 Posted October 9, 2012 Report Share Posted October 9, 2012 Wondering if anyone has had a problem with this. I have lowered the gearing on my bike & fitted a speedohealer. Everything is fine for a while, then when you open the throttle, it accelerates as usual & then starts to "choke" - feeling like its being starved of fuel. It happens at the same revs & wont accelerate further but it is intermittant. I have checked that there is no vacuum being formed in the petrol tank by a blocked breather etc. Having searched on the web, it would seem that others have reported something similar. (I had a v4 SH on the R1 and it was faultless) to check, try running the bike with it removed. then you'll know if it's the SH or not I guess...
