Andy J Posted September 17, 2012 Report Share Posted September 17, 2012 Am i right in thinking that its wise to adjust valve clearances before balancing carbs or am i talking shit? I seem to remember reading somewhere in the dim and distant past that if you balance carbs then do valve clearances the carbs could need balancing again due to different clearances so its best to do valves first then carbs? I just dont want to go to the hassle of whipping the tank off and setting up my vacuum guages only to have to do it again once i get the valve clearances done.
