Putting A Nc35 Fork On A Nt 650 Gt

Hi.Like the title says.Am considering buying a Honda nt 650 gt (bros in britain if I'm not mistaken...),and thought it might look cool with the NC35 USD forks on it.What would I need to change to make this happen?Know I probably need the NC35 wheel, brake discs and calipers and clamp. But how would I go about getting the headlamp to fit along with the dash?Maybe a custom workshop and let them take care of it if they don't charge an extortionate price? Is this doable for a layman,or is it just for pros?

Thanks for any thoughts on this:)

You'll have to jiggle the bearings perhaps, but probably not, many hondas of that era are the same size. Forks, yokes, brakes and wheel will drop straight on. You could actually use 1 of the bros calipers on there too, they're the same. Try and get the master cylinder too, obviously the ratios are way off on the stock bros m/c as it's only got half the pistons as an nc35.

The headlight clips onto a frame which essentially squeezes between the two yokes, so I guess you just drill holes into the nc35 yokes in the same place as they are on the RC31 yokes. Yes, it is an RC31, like an RC30, but 1 better...

The other thing is that the stock forks on a bros are a bit longer than an nc35, but it's no biggy, it'll steepen the steering a bit, but on the team north bros, with RS250 forks which are slightly shorter than the nc35, plus a slightly taller shock at the back, it still feels quite raked out.

I'll get back when and if I'll get the bike.Putting a progressive spring in the original fork would work wonders too,but think it would look quite cool with the above set. Thanks for reply.

You know you want a varadero front end with 40cm of fork sticking through the yokes....
