TheFlymo Posted June 20, 2012 Report Share Posted June 20, 2012 As above, a mate has a Tamoretti 125 scooter (four stroke), it stalls when opening the throttle from idle. He's been quoted £150 to do the valve clearances, but it feels like a carb problem to me, and it's only done 2000 miles anyway so seems a bit early for valves (I have no idea when it comes to scoots). I normally use FWR for my bikes, but they're not willing to do do scoots. Any trustworthy mechanics around, nearer to Clapham Junction the better... Ta!
