MarkB
Hi, i know this is a mod that some owners have already done so hopefully can offer some words of wisdom . Fitted an R6 throttle tube to my srad today and all is good as it is now only 1/4 turn but when i adjusted the freeplay, both cables are now at the top of their adjustment (they were about halfway with the srad throttle). Question is, is this due to the different throttle tube itself or are the cables due for replacement ? And, if i replace the cables do i use new srad ones or look at using R6 cables ?? Thanks in advance

ChefKoch_SRAD
I needed also a shorter throttle cable. Because i use different carbs in my SRAD. I just soldered the ends by my self. It's very easy and cheap and you will have the perfect length. But do you have more infos and picutures of your R6 short stroke throttle modification? Does the throttle tube fit the original switch assy?
MarkB
R6 tube is same diameter as SRAD tube and it does fit the original switchgear. Just fits straight on. Easy mod to do.
