chi kung
A friend has got a monster and hes got issues with the immobilser not recognising the key? He has got new clocks on it but not the keys to those clocks. So the question is there anywhere that can recode or match them up. He has tried all the usual Ducati procedures and can get the bike to run but its a pain. Thanks for listening to my ramblings.
Gobert23
Hmm, I'd suggest just giving Ducati (UK) Technical Dept. a call. They're a friendly bunch and will keep you pointed in the right direction... http://www.ducatiuk.com/company/contact_us/contact_form/index.do I'm not 100% on the late model bikes, with the immobiliser integrated into the clocks. Should there not be a 'master' key?
chi kung
Yes he has all the keys but they are for the original clocks. I will send him the link. Thanks
Gobert23
I think the clocks and keys (along with the locks) were supplied as a complete, matched, set. I'm not entirely sure if they can be paired without the master key that goes with the clockset. Fingers-crossed though. G
Timbo S2
When I bought mine, the seller couldn't find the red key or key code. I investigated, and found a couple of compnaies on the web who could code the clocks to the new key etc. Never need them in the end, as the seeler found everything, but have a google. I'm pretty sure it can be done. Spare red keys can be bought from ebay.
