hoona6
Took the airbox off the Trumpet to change the plugs today and one of the intake trumpets has been damaged by a poorly seated retaining spring. New one ordered but my question is what is the glue-like substance securing them in place?? Any clues folks? Facebook piccy if you can see it... Gregorious77
probably some sort of 2 pack glue, I recon you will be ok using epoxy to stick it back on. Why are you taking your bike apart on the only 1 week window of decent weather for months!!??!!?

Why are you taking your bike apart on the only 1 week window of decent weather for months!!??!!? I'll nip down Halfords and pick some up. It's been off the road since last October and I'm finally getting mein arsch in gear. Shock off for a refresh, linkages greased, new plugs fitted, K&N fitted. New intake trumpet on order. Needs new pads, brake fluid, coolant, oil.... Fancy a stroll out one morning when it's back on it's feet?
