heds954
As per the title, I'm just going through my bike at the moment, getting it back up to scratch. I've noticed that the paint on the rad has bubbled on one side and flaked off on the other. Oh wise ones on the forum, two questions: 1) what is the best, easiest, quickest way of removing the crappy finish back to bare metal without killing the rad? 2) the best paint / enamel to paint it with? I've found a dedicated radiator aerosol paint by an American firm called Eastwood, seems to be right for the task and is about the £15 mark. Any advice gratefully received Ta muchly
Mark/Foggy
Think that you're stuck with Nitromors on this one and Sooooooo much patience. I'd be tempted to patch repair and then blow over tha whole lot. Self etch priper on the rubbed down areas and then paint away. Any HT engine paint should do. heds954
If I patch then there's a good chance the rest will be on it's way out anyway... Dunno if I can be arsed with Nitromors, could I get it acid dipped without it disappearing?
