2T Institue Posted September 17, 2012 Report Share Posted September 17, 2012 Interesting, something I hadn't really thought of, was that with these cylinders I'm running RM pistons, and I've had to remove .8mm off the base of the barrel due to a slightly shorter pin-crown distance. This will mean a different timing advance? You have just dropped port timing doing this. I would be marking say 1,1.5 or 2mm BTDC on both cylinders and strobing each cylinder. Got 2 trackdays and 1 race meet, then my season is over for this year! Got a photo from Aintree, almost looks like I have a clue of what I'm doing!
