vfiend Posted January 16, 2012 Report Share Posted January 16, 2012 I have a VFR750FG 1986 I'm building up as a race bike, Race rules state carbs must stay same size and type, Naturally you can piss about with intake and breathing etc, But they must be the same type. The FG was fitted with 34mm keihn CV carbs, The 94-97's were fitted with 34mm keihn downdraft CV carbs. What is the actual difference between these carbs? To look at there is obvious intake difference, 2 inlet on the earlier beneath a mesh, 4 bellmouths on the later. But are the internals the same? I'd like improved airflow through my carbs, but obviously only want to change parts that keep me eligible. Any advice much appreciated. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
