Bungle
Hi, I recently purchased what was supposed to be a TL1000r Nissin master cylinder/front brake off the bay. I bought it to upgrade my weedy existing cylinder on my RG500. Now I have just received a rebuild kit for it, again off the bay, but I have found my existing cylinder to be 14mm bore & the kit contains a piston for 16mm bore! Have I got a genuine TL1000r front cylinder or have I been sent the wrong rebuild kit?? PLEASE HELP. Just had a look at the cylinder & it says on it- 6N 14. I suppose that means it is 14mm? What could it be off? It visually looks identical to a TL jobbie. OH BOLLOCKS! I have a TL1000s cylinder not R as I was sold. DOES ANYONE WANT A NEW REBUILD KIT FOR A TL1OOOR? £12 posted. [Cost me £22.]
tonk
Would it be throwing good money after bad to upgrade the rest of the braking system to suit the new MC? Or how about advertising on this 'ere PINBOARD?
