/dev/null
I'm cleaning and refurbishing the front calipers on my 954 Blade. I don't know how well it was maintained by the previous owner, but the piston bores were actually very nice and clean inside. I bought some new 'Nikone' seals but they have a bit of mold flash on one side. Which way should the 'good' side of the seals face? My best guess is: fluid seals with good side into the piston bore, dust seals with the good side facing out. Opinions?
BudgetBoy
Good facing towards piston face.(IMO) You want a good seal on the piston for both the fluid & to stop dust getting past.
