Angle Grinders.

I've got this big old ugly Power Devil 4 1/2" angry grinder which I've had for 20-odd years. It was cheap, it's heavy, but it had a 900 watt motor so would blast through most things.

Until yesterday.

It's now quite dead and I'd like to purchase another 4 1/2" grinder (115mm in new money)

Gotta be 240volt, fairly powerful motor (750w + would be good) and lightweight with a small body to allow my gimpy withered claw to hang on to it.

Sub £50 would be good too.

Any recommendations..?

I got one of those challenge extreme ones from Argos, about 30 quid years ago, and still going strong. It's big, and tries to snap your wrist everytime you fire it up but does the job. We use Bosch ones at work which are much lighter, don't break wrists, and are a diddle to do more delicate bits on but you can seem to stop the disc a bit easy for some reason, maybe ours are just fucked lol.

I've still got my DeWalt item, bought it 17ish years ago, still going strong, used regularly in a workshop, it's still as good as the day I got it. Buy it right, buy it once
