drunkn munky Posted January 8, 2009 Report Share Posted January 8, 2009 i have a set of arrow pipes on my RGV which are starting to show some surface rust, im going to get them blasted and would like to leave them unpainted, ive heard coating them with duck oil keeps the form oxidizing, is this true? are they any other ways to keep them nice or am i gunna have to paint them? Painting them would keep the water and air off the steel, which is what rusts them. No other way I'm afraid, anyone who sells you a product that claims different, is a snake oil salesperson.
