YZ faybo
Hi all Need to tap up those in the knowledge of SRAD engines. I thought I potentaily had a blown head gasket due to a little oil on the gasket lip. Upon further searching I have found tiny little holes just under the exhaust headers and one of them is weeping a tiny tiny amount of oil which has traveled onto said gasket lip. Does anybody know what these are and why one of them is letting these few drops of oil out? are they some kind of over flow/pressure escape route for oil? Thanks
Mr.Pigdog
Would imagine they're spark plug tunnel drains?to prevent the plug tunnels filling with water in wet weather-so maybe your plug/cam cover gasket is weeping slightly
YZ faybo
No these holes look made with a purpose. You can see the weeping one vrs clean one just under the header
